| Abstract (English): |
Epilepsy and psychiatric disorders coexist with considerable prevalence, significantly impacting patients' quality of life. Therefore, understanding each condition, its diagnosis, and optimal management are paramount. This guide, using the PICO question format (Patients, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcomes), presents answers based on a systematic search of articles published in indexed journals, as well as other guidelines such as those from the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE). The ultimate goal is to provide a critical assessment for the diagnosis and management of the most common psychiatric disorders associated with epilepsy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
