Abstract (English):	Nephrotic syndrome is the most common glomerular disease in childhood and represents a major cause of morbidity, recurrent hospitalizations, and prolonged exposure to immunosuppressive therapies. Its clinical presentation, course, and therapeutic response are highly heterogeneous, underscoring the need for standardized, evidence-based management strategies. These national guidelines aim to unify diagnostic, therapeutic, and follow-up criteria for pediatric nephrotic syndrome, integrating updated international recommendations with regional clinical experience, and emphasizing their applicability for the local context. This document reviews the definition and classification of nephrotic syndrome, initial clinical evaluation, laboratory assessment, indications for genetic testing, and stratification according to steroid response. Indications for renal biopsy, general management principles, prevention and treatment of infectious and thrombotic complications, and vaccination recommendations in immunosuppressed patients are also addressed. Therapeutic approaches for steroid-sensitive, steroid-dependent, frequently relapsing, and steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome are described, including the rational use of conventional immunosuppressive agents and biologic therapies. In addition, emerging post-rituximab treatment options, such as alternative anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies and immunomodulatory agents, are reviewed, highlighting their potential role in selected pediatric patients. Abstract (Spanish):	El síndrome nefrótico constituye la glomerulopatía más frecuente en la edad pediátrica y representa una causa importante de morbilidad, hospitalización recurrente y uso prolongado de inmunosupresores. Su presentación clínica, evolución y respuesta terapéutica son heterogéneas, lo que exige un abordaje diagnóstico y terapéutico estandarizado y basado en evidencia. Las presentes pautas nacionales tienen como objetivo unificar criterios diagnósticos, terapéuticos y de seguimiento del síndrome nefrótico en niños, incorporando recomendaciones internacionales actualizadas y la experiencia clínica regional, con énfasis en su aplicabilidad en el contexto nacional. Se abordan de manera sistemática la definición y clasificación del síndrome nefrótico, la evaluación clínica inicial, los estudios de laboratorio, la indicación de estudios genéticos y la estratificación según la respuesta a la terapia esteroidea. Asimismo, se describen las indicaciones de biopsia renal, el manejo general, la prevención y tratamiento de complicaciones infecciosas y trombóticas, y las recomendaciones de vacunación en pacientes inmunosuprimidos. Se detallan los esquemas terapéuticos para las distintas formas evolutivas, incluyendo síndrome nefrótico corticosensible, corticodependiente, con recaídas frecuentes y corticoresistente, así como el uso racional de inmunosupresores clásicos y terapias biológicas. Finalmente, se revisan nuevas opciones terapéuticas post-rituximab, como otros anticuerpos anti-CD20 y agentes inmunomoduladores emergentes, destacando su rol potencial en casos seleccionados.
