| Abstract (English): |
The practice of medicine is based on imaging studies, to facilitate decision to establish the diagnosis is the magnitude of risk to be subjected to a radiological study, will only be justified when it is obtained useful information for the patient. La práctica de la medicina se apoya en estudios de imagen, al facilitar las desciones para establecer el diagnóstico; se desconoce la magnitud del riesgo al ser sometidos a un estudio radiológico, sólo se verá justificado cuando se obtiene información útil para el paciente. Objetivos: establecer una guía clínica que permita definir con base en el análisis de resultados y experiencia generada en los servicios de pediatría neurológica y radiología e imagen de la Unidad de Especialidades Médicas de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional.
