Abstract (English): Currently, between the Pharmaceutical industry and healthcare professionals there is a very close and delicate relationship that may lead either party to conflicts of interest in which the party that results affected in the end may be the patient. The purpose of this analysis is to pose potential situations in which economic, scientific, academic, and medical interests that are a usual cause for controversy interact. It also identifies the diverse areas in which it would be desirable to generate improvement strategies for the practices and behavior by the involved parties in order to make clear the relationship between doctors and drug production companies without letting aside the need to establish new normalized criteria for the country.
