The article reports on the increased efforts of Promotora de Informaciones SA (Prisa) in Spain to issue assets and draw investors in order to reduce its debt and generate cash flow in 2009. Prisa chief executive Juan Luis Cebrián said that the company's focus lies on the process of attaining reasonable debt levels by means of partial divestments. He also cited the intention of the firm to offer its minority stakes in Media Capital or its publishing division called Santillana. |
