| Abstract: | When Cambridge messes up, it messes up rather spectacularly. The latest example, of course, is Mayor Jan Liggett's interruption of a speech being given by Sophie Mills, a non-binary teen who had been invited to speak at a Pride event in the city. After the uproar, Liggett defended her interruption in part because she said the speech by Mills deviated from the speech that had been approved beforehand. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER] |
