The article explores amplifying health literacy by obtaining credible health information. According to the National Health Education Standards, it is important that students demonstrate the ability to access valid health information and services. Health-related Internet sites that provide verification, present author credentials and that provide consistent documentation are proper valid sources. The article provides information for health education instructions that enable them to organize effective lesson plans that can be used for grades 6 through 12. |
