Abstract: The article discusses a study that explores how students simultaneously experience the dimensions of school climate and how experiences may be different for highly mobile students. Highlights include the link of negative experiences of school climate with adverse individual outcomes, contextual factors that may predict student experiences of school climate, and school-level interventions that can be implemented to ameliorate negative transition experiences.
