Abstract (English): The objective of this study was to explore the features of Facebook that generate romantic jealousy in adults. One hundred people from 18 to 30 years old (50% women and 50% men) participated in the study; they were selected in a non-probabilistic accidental way. The Technique of Modified Natural Semantic Networks of Reyes-Lagunes (1993) was applied. The Network Size (NS), Semantic Weight (SW), Network Core (NC), and Quantitative Semantic Distance (QSD) were obtained, both for men as for women. Subsequently, the Group Consensus Index (GCI) was calculated, as well as a Pearson χ² to determine the association between the groups in the repeated definers in the nuclei of the network. The results found help to characterize the different situations that generate jealousy on Facebook with information that emerges naturally from the participants. Likewise, they provide the meaning and language necessary to develop instruments for measuring the construct from the perspective of Ethnopsychometry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
