| Abstract: |
The article presents a study which evaluated the feasibility of implementing a real-world dementia care training program for nursing assistants (NAs) in the hospital setting and the impact of the training program on NA attitudes and experience working with hospitalized persons living with dementia (PLWD). Topics discussed include the implementation of a dementia care training program for NAs on two medicine units across two academic hospitals in New York and lessons learned from the program. |
