| Abstract: | This study aims to investigate the relationship between attachment styles and marital satisfaction (MS) through their storytelling enjoyment (SE) and narrative mindset (NM). This was a correlational study of structural equations modeling (SEM) type. 294 married persons (145 men and 149 women) were selected using convenience sampling. The results indicated that the proposed model has a good fit. Secure attachment style had a significant positive relationship with MS through SE and NM, and ambivalent attachment style showed the same relationship negatively. Examination of the gender factor showed that the model had a good fit for women but not for men. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
