Abstract: The article focuses on mapping multiple sclerosis (MS)-like lesion development in a marmoset model using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), histopathology, and molecular profiling. Topics include early astrocytic signaling in perivascular and periventricular regions, an MRI biomarker for pre-demyelination hypercellularity, and the role of microglia, oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs), and monocyte derivatives in lesion progression and repair.
