| Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties and measurement invariance of the revised version of the Child and Youth Resilience Measure – Person Most Knowledgeable (PMK-CYRM-R) questionnaire among Iranian children. Participants included a community sample of 435 Iranian children (M-age = 6.92 years; SD = 2.94; 52.2% boys) who participated in this study with their mothers (M-age = 36.67 years; SD = 5.65). All participants completed the Persian translation of the PMK-CYRM-R and measures of the Emotion Regulation Checklist and the Child Behavior Checklist. Confirmatory Factor Analysis supports the 2-factor structure of the scale and was invariant across genders and age groups. In examining internal consistency using Cronbach's alpha and McDonald's omega, the value of each subscale and the total scale was higher than 0.7. Regarding concurrent validity, the PMK-CYRM-RTotal score and its subscales share a positive correlation with healthy and adaptive variables, such as emotion regulation and a negative correlation with maladaptive and pathological variables. The present results, the first to examine the psychometric properties and measurement invariance of the Persian version of the PMK-CYRM-R, provide support for the validity and reliability of the PMK-CYRM-R to assess children's resilience through their caregivers.
