| Abstract (English): |
This ethnomethodological study, grounded in the Health Action Process Approach (HAPA) model, analyzed certification processes within health programs among small-scale dairy producers in Alto Putumayo. Based on interviews with certified, previously certified, and non-certified producers, positive perceptions were identified regarding the ability to achieve certification, although concerns persist regarding costs, the culling of test-positive animals, and institutional distrust. Findings indicate that maintaining certification is easier than obtaining it initially and that external support plays a key role in facilitating the certification process. The study highlights how perceptions, expectations, and risk appraisal influence the adoption and maintenance of sanitary practices. It underscores the need for differentiated and context-sensitive strategies to promote greater participation in these programs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

Este estudio etnometodológico, fundamentado en el modelo Procesual de Acción en Salud (HAPA, por sus siglas en inglés), analizó la certificación en programas sanitarios en pequeños productores de leche del Alto Putumayo. A partir de entrevistas con productores previamente certificados y no certificados, se identificaron percepciones positivas sobre la capacidad para certificarse, aunque persisten preocupaciones relacionadas con los costos, la eliminación de animales positivos y la desconfianza institucional. Se encontró que mantener la certificación es más sencillo que obtenerla inicialmente y que el acompañamiento externo es clave para gestionar el trámite. El estudio resalta cómo las percepciones, expectativas y la valoración del riesgo afectan la adopción y sostenimiento de prácticas sanitarias, destacando la necesidad de estrategias diferenciadas y contextualizadas que promuevan una mayor participación en estos programas.
