| Abstract: |
The article presents information on the orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) in transthyretin amyloidoses. OLT is a priority for familial amyloidotic polyneuropathy in the young patients. OLT halts production in the native liver of the abnormal transthyretin and progress of autonomic neuropathy and visceral amyloid deposition. |
