| Abstract: | The authors reflect on the question of whether the active recruitment of health workers from sub-Saharan Africa should be viewed as a crime. They suggest that shortages of health care staff are endemic in sub-Saharan Africa and that the insufficiency of health care staff is an impediment to the delivery of health care services. They argue that if recruiting does not stop the health consequences of health worker recruitment for Africa are dire. |
