| Abstract: |
The article presents the case of a 19 year old man with Mees' lines. He presented with pedal oedema and facial puffiness. The results of laboratory tests revealed anaemia, hypoalbuminaemia, and hyperlipidaemia. He was also found to have albuminuria and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. The author notes that Mees' lines are associated with conditions including severe infection, poisoning, renal disease, cardiac failure, and malignant disease. |
