| Abstract: | The article suggests a policy of international development for the Jewish society. The authors posit the alignment of Jewish philanthropy and Israeli government policy with anti-poverty and public health programs. The authors underscore the importance of integrating the efforts of Israeli Jews and the world Jewry. Though the state only spends .06% of its gross income on official development assistance, the authors think that philanthropic funding can be expanded. Ways to integrate foreign policy with philanthropic objectives are cited. |
