The article offers information on how chartered psychologist Chris Idzikowski of Edinburgh Sleep Centre found that British Brian Thomas killed his wife by strangulation due to sleep-related automation. Idzikowski explained that he examined the case on two levels, first the detail of the alleged offence and whether it is compatible with other cases and second is assessing whether the individual is suffering from a sleepwalking disorder. Factors that could trigger this disorder is also cited. |
