| Abstract: |
The article focuses on a randomised, cross-sectional, countrywide survey that was conducted to assess untreated surgical conditions in Sierra Leone, West Africa. The study was performed during January 9, 2012 and February 3, 2012 and selected 75 of 9671 enumeration areas in Sierra Leone with a probability proportional to the population size. The results show a large unmet need for surgical consultations in Sierra Leone. |
