Abstract: The article reports on research which was conducted to investigate whether the Boston Naming Test could be useful in diagnosing the beginning of Alzheimer's disease related semantic dysfunction. Researchers evaluated 40 patients with Alzheimer's disease and 40 healthy control subjects.They found that the test was able to identify semantic dysfunction in patients with Alzheimer's disease.
