Abstract (English): In this essay I review concepts relating to the subjectivities of youth and their conceptions of topics such as politics and culture, suggesting -on the basis of various recent investigations-that in the society of information the forms of the sociocultural mix in interesting ways with "the political". These forms can be analyzed in relation to two important spheres: an "informatized" capitalism and a democracy that is merely "representative". It is argued that the sociocultural practices of youth result in new forms of subjectivity, as well as their novel experience of the political. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
