The purpose of this article is to analyze the experience of four therapists working with suicidal patients from the perspective of culture as practices and meanings. From the application of a qualitative methodology of phenomenological cutting with biographical dyes, it seeks to rescue the emotions and experiences reported by the interviewed subjects in order to generate greater understanding at the level of meanings, values, beliefs and actions. El presente artículo tiene como finalidad el analizar desde la perspectiva de la cultura en tanto prácticas y significados la experiencia de cuatro terapeutas que trabajan con pacientes suicidas. A partir de la aplicación de una metodología cualitativa de corte fenomenológico con tintes biográficos, se busca rescatar las emociones y las experiencias relatadas por los sujetos entrevistados con la finalidad de generar una mayor comprensión a nivel de significados, valores, creencias y acciones.
