Abstract (English): The first Ecclesial Assembly of Latin America and the Caribbean took place in November 2021 at the sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico. Approximately a thousand people participated, including bishops, priests, religious, laypeople, and people in situations of exclusion. During the assembly, activities, exhibitions, and forums were held, as well as moments of prayer and Eucharistic celebration. Mons. Miguel Cabrejos, the president of CELAM, thanked all the people and entities that made the meeting possible and highlighted the importance of synodality and the renewal of the Church. The assembly seeks to strengthen the common discernment of the Church and promote integral conversion to collaborate in the task of making the Kingdom of Jesus present in Latin America and the Caribbean. Abstract (Spanish): La Asamblea Eclesial de América Latina y el Caribe tuvo lugar, en su fase presencial, entre los días 21 y 28 de noviembre de 2021 en el santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en México, y simultáneamente en varios otros lugares de toda la región. Para la ocasión se congregaron unas mil personas, de las cuales 200 eran obispos, 200 sacerdotes y diáconos, 200 religiosas y religiosos, además de 400 laicos y personas en situación de exclusión. La mayoría hizo presencia de forma virtual. Cada día llevó un lema especial y se desarrollaron una serie de actividades, exposiciones y foros acompañados de momentos de oración y celebración eucarística, todo enmarcado bajo la premisa del encuentro, reconocimiento y diálogo en el Espíritu.
