Abstract (English): The Colombian Navy has established plans and programs for naval development until the year 2042, acquiring new ships and torpedoes to strengthen its tactical capabilities. The project for the construction of future Strategic Surface Platforms (PES) has also been finalized, and a new oceanographic vessel has been incorporated. These actions aim to enhance Colombia's defense and naval power projection capabilities in its sovereign spaces. Additionally, the incorporation of a new vessel, the Light River Support Patrol (PAF-U), and the acquisition of river boats designed by Cotecmar, as well as a new Bell 412i helicopter by the Naval Aviation Command, are highlighted. These new developments and acquisitions contribute to the modernization of the Colombian Navy. [Extracted from the article]
Abstract (Spanish): La Armada Colombiana ha establecido planes y programas para el desarrollo naval hasta el año 2042, adquiriendo nuevos buques y torpedos para fortalecer sus capacidades tácticas. También se ha concretado el proyecto de construcción de las futuras Plataformas Estratégicas de Superficie (PES) y se ha incorporado un nuevo buque oceanográfico. Estas acciones buscan potenciar las capacidades de defensa y proyección de poder naval de Colombia en sus espacios soberanos. Además, se destaca la incorporación de una nueva embarcación, la Patrullera de Apoyo Fluvial Ligera (PAF-U), y la adquisición de botes fluviales diseñados por Cotecmar, así como un nuevo helicóptero Bell 412i por parte del Comando de Aviación Naval.
