Abstract (English): Greek mythology and classical iconography play an important role in the construction of narratives in the field of International Law. Myth, which recounts the creation of the universe and the genealogy of the gods, establishes a symbolic and transcendental basis for understanding order and justice in the world. On the other hand, legends, centered on the exploits of heroes and demigods, convey values of fairness and bravery that have inspired the development of international law from its earliest antecedents. Classical iconography, through artistic depictions, captures the divine essence and bravery of heroes, visually conveying the ideals that guide our legal order. These mythological and legendary narratives contribute to forging a common history, laying the foundations for forging the identity of and cooperation between European states. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
