Abstract (English): In this article it is analyzed, from a neokantina perspective, the phenomenon of the rap music in the municipality of Zumpango, where the geographic ubication and the social-cultural characteristics decant in a process transitional of the traditionalism to the modernity. Has been identified two fundamentals categories related to the praxis of rap; on one side, are who use the rap to critic the economic capitalist model and, in another hand, who reproduce said model through of the rap. These categories have been elaborated from do an analysis of content of the songs of the Zumpango rappers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): En el presente artículo se analiza, desde una perspectiva neokantiana, el fenómeno de la música rap en el municipio de Zumpango, donde la ubicación geográfica y las características socioculturales decantan en un proceso transicional del tradicionalismo a la modernidad. Se han identificado dos categorías fundamentales relacionadas a la praxis del rap; por una parte, están quienes utilizan el rap para criticar el modelo económico capitalista y, por otra, quienes reproducen dicho modelo a través del rap. Estas categorías han sido elaboradas a partir de un análisis de contenido de las canciones de los raperos de Zumpango. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
