The article addresses the complexity of the global economy in times of war in Ukraine and post-pandemic. It highlights the end of the neoliberal era and ley trends that will shape the new scenario. From this starting point, it is necessary for the European Union to develop "strategic autonomy" to address vulnerabilities in energy and technology, promoting the circular economy and a more active international stance. El articulo aborda la complejidad de la economía global en tiempos de guerra en Ucrania y postpandemia. Se destaca el fin de la era neoliberal y las tendencias clave que definirán el nuevo escenario. Desde ese punto de partida, es necesario que la Unión Europea desarrolle una "autonomía estratégica" para abordar vulnerabilidades en energía y tecnología, promoviendo la economía circular y una posición internacional más activa.
