Abstract (English): This article is about the beginnings of feminist radio broadcasting in Mexico. It focuses on the program "Women's Forum" which was transmitted from the station of the National Autonomous University of Mexico in the capital of the country from 1972 until 1986. Using several recordings, this article reconstructs the program's main characteristics and the context that made it possible. It also tries to understand its importance for the Mexican feminist movement of the time. This radio program was pioneering and transgressing, and in its beginnings, it was the only spoken proposal among a universe of written culture that allowed women to adopt a position as social actors in modern media and made an important difference for the acceptance and placing of female tones and frequencies into the public space.
