El libro reúne columnas, cartas, entrevistas, meditaciones y homilías que reflejan la influencia del magisterio de los papas Juan Pablo II, Benedicto XVI y Francisco, especialmente en temas como la relación entre razón y fe, la ética, la estética y los desafíos contemporáneos. Chomali aborda problemas actuales como la crisis educativa, la migración, la descomposición social, el relativismo ético y la crisis de la familia, proponiendo un horizonte de esperanza basado en la piedad popular, la labor social de la Iglesia y la resiliencia democrática en Chile.
