The text is divided into five parts. "Exploring some images and ideas about he concepts involved", presents the categories that are historically associated with the conceptual movements that are of interest: culture, communication, history and information. "Fields of study and programs of study: Spaces of relation between the different and the similar", presents the three programs of basic study associated with the categorical relations explored in the first part: Anthropology and Cultural Studies, the Fine Arts and the study of the cultural, and Communications and Cultural Studies. "Historical Communications Research and Cultural Studies", presents notes on the history of Communications associated with Cultural Studies. "Opening the agenda of reflection on communication and culture", presents analytic notes on this central relation from the point of view of the project Toward a possible Communications, of the GUOCOM. El texto se divide en cinco partes. En "Explorando algunas imágenes e ideas sobre los conceptos involucrados", se presentan las categorías que históricamente se asocian al movimiento conceptual de la cultura, la comunicación, la historia y la información. "Ámbitos de estudio y Programas de estudio. Espacios de relación entre lo diferente y lo semejante", presenta los tres programas de estudio básicos asociados a las relaciones categoriales exploradas en la primera parte, la Antropología y los Estudios Culturales, las Bellas Artes y los estudios sobre la cultural, y la Comunicología y los Estudios Culturales. "La Comunicología Histórica y los Estudios Culturales", presenta un apunte de la historia de la Comunicología asociada a los Estudios Culturales. "Abriendo la agenda de reflexión sobre la comunicación y la cultura", presenta un apunte analítico sobre esta relación central desde el punto de vista del proyecto Hacia una Comunicología posible, del GUCOM.
