The article presents activities of the Centro Internacional de Estudios Superiores de Periodismo para América Latina (CIESPAL, or the International Center for Advanced Studies in Journalism for Latin America). These activities include the commemoration of CIESPAL's 50th anniversary, a homage to former CIESPAL director Marco Ordóñez, and development of a communication strategy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) directed at Colombian citizens on the Ecuadoran-Colombian border in need of asylum. |
